Introduction

Only 42% of the total population in Ethiopia is using improved water sources, according to the United Nations (UNSD: 2006). Lack of technical capacity of the water related personnel is one of the major problems which make improvement of the situation difficult.

To tackle this, EWTEC is playing an important role through provision of various technical trainings for engineers and technicians who are engaged in the water sector in the country.
