Special Interview
Interview with Mr. Henry Anthony Beukes participating in the 4th international groundwater modeking course from Namibia.

Q1.How is your impression and finding from the international groundwater modeling course?
- It is a great initiative by JICA to educate the young professionals in developing countries in areas of groundwater management, as this constitutes as a tool of groundwater management. In terms of findings, I will be able to find the advantages of this program applying the methods that I have learned in the training to practical problems after I go back to Namibia.
Q2. What would you like to do with the knowledge and experience you have grasped in the program after going back to your country?
- The best would be to apply it to practical problems I face in Namibia, both with respect to prediction models and to pollution modeling. I also would like to share what I have learned with my colleagues in Namibia by means of presentation.

Q3. How would you like to introduce this program to the public?
- The best way would be to utilize the knowledge in prediction or pollution modeling to advice the public on the best groundwater management process. Then, people will know the value and efficiency of the program.
